Regular
and early medical consultation, in the cases of
pregnancy, enables the doctor to watch for abnormal
changes in blood pressure, blood, urine, weight
etc. and foresee any potential problems. Following
symptoms require immediate medical attention.
- Bleeding from vagina, rectum, nipple, or lungs
while coughing;
- Sudden escape of fluid from the vagina;
- Severe or repeated headaches;
- Sharp or prolonged pain in abdomen;
- Severe or continued vomiting;
- Chills or fever;
- Sudden gain of huge weight;
- Swelling or puffiness in face or hands;
- Persistent severe swelling of the legs;
- Dimness, blurred vision, flashes of light,
or spots before your eyes.

be supplemented by fluids and roughage in diet.
Both mother and child need nourishment and liquids.
The risk of bladder or kidney infection during pregnancy
is also averted if the amount of fluid intake is
