Ayurveda Kendra

Dr. Sudha Asokan has been practising Ayurveda for the last 22 years. She belongs to a famous traditional physicians family of Kerala. Father, late Kallayil Kesavan Vaidyar was a renowned Ayurvedic physician who had been working as a medical officer in Kerala Goverment Service. Grand father, late Kallayil Kunju Vaidyar also was an Ayurvedic physician well known in Kerala for his skill in the treatment of eye diseases. After her university education she joined the famous Kottakkal Ayurveda College and graduated in Ayurveda. Then she had her post graduate degree from the P.G.Centre for Ayurveda , Trivandrum in Kerala. She had a two-year research on Tribal medicines under the Council for Scientific Research.

She has written many articles and given several interviews on Ayurveda in various publications. She is at present engaged in writing a book on Ayurvedic Massages.
She has been propagating Ayurveda at her best. In 1995, she paid a visit to Japan on the invitation of Ms. Takano Yuri, the queen of the beauty business in Japan, to propagate and train Ayurvedic treatments to Takano Yuri's masseuses in her 150 Beauty clinics in Japan.

In 1998 she paid a visit to USA and Canada. She had done free consultations and speeches in cities of New York, Atlanta, Chicago and Toranto. In 2000 she paid a visit to Dubai and Abudhabi and Ayurveda Kendra particpated two India Exchibitions. In 2005 she was again to Middle East visiting Baharein, Sharja, Dubai, Fujira and Abudhabhi.
